GBLT Corp. shares were higher Tuesday morning after the company said it established its own solar panel supply.

At 9:50 a.m. ET, shares were trading 10% higher at 11 Canadian cents (8 U.S. cents).

The Canadian stationary and mobile storage device company has established its own supply of solar panels under the EXTRAVOLT brand.

GBLT said the new business will complement its current delivery of solar panel engineering, design, installation and maintenance services to residential and commercial clients in Germany.

"We are experiencing undeniably high demand for our solar energy solutions in Germany and given the macro environment challenges affecting global supply chain, we are pleased to have our own stable supply of solar panels," Chief Executive Thilo Senst said.
